I recently made these cupcakes for my child's class and thought I'd share. They were super easy. All of the candy was pre-made except for the mustaches. They were made from these molds that you can find from Amazon. I used the yellow Wilton candy melts available from Michaels in the mold. I melted the candy melts in the microwave stirring often. The orange cupcake liners and banana candy I also found at Amazon. The candy eyes were Wilton brand and found at Michaels. I recommend coloring whatever icing you choose you with an icing color rather than typical food coloring. Food coloring will make your icing thinner and may not yield a favorable result. I used an orange icing color also from Michaels. The orange nose is a skittle. I had to flatten out the top of the cupcakes with a knife so that the candy and mustaches would lay flat and not fall off of the cupcake.
